The way that tree's branches curve and follow the staircase somehow reminded me of a tree that protects and nourishes our every progression through life.
Also known as the 'Mother Hill' or 'Shivering Mountain' due to the frequent landslips which have resulted in a multitude of 'mini-hills' beneath it.
To the right you can also find the industrial smoke produced by Hope cement works. Some consider it to be an eye sore to the landscape but I think the chimney's smoke added an element of interest to this photo.
