DMC-LC40 using AWB. compare with Afrika which used CBL WB tool. Picture adjusted in Nikon NX2

An old DMC-L40 from 1999. I added DMW-LW52 WA converter which gave me 28 mm view. A polarizer helped. WB by CBL tool.
Originally 4 MP image reduced for the site. No sharpening no NR. Touch up in Nikon NX2.

The LC40 is quick, easy to set up has an f2.0 Summicron lens, and produces nice pictures, though a little noisy in the shadows which has to be fixed with NR( I use Nikon NX2). It is a 4 MP camera. Doesn't match the LC5/Digilux 1 for IQ.

This Summicron has 8 elements in 7 groups with 2 Aspherical lenses. Nice camera.
