OM40 is not a rangefinder for sure. I used it yesterday because it was the only camera I had in my car trunk when I came back from the post office with the new film in hand. The day was sunny and I couldn't resist trying it. Notwithstanding I do believe rangefinding is a style and a state of mind, and can be practised with other film cameras.

My experience is limited and I know of no other film like this one. It reminds me, however, of the rendering of oriental prints and drawings.

In this village many jews were burned at the stake in the old days, before they fled to the Netherlands. I guess this is a monument to the memory of the deceased.
