I like the star flare behind her... it's a very theatrical image and the light w/flare gives the illusion of being the source of her back lighting. It's interesting which photos generate the most feedback, it's rarely those that are technically perfect.
the image is ok, but, IMHO you can make it stronger converiting it in black and white. blue cast and this annoying light behind the woman will be gone and the picture will be better
Why wouldn't you post this picture? It's classic street photography. The subject matter is chosen not random, it's technically spot on and best of all natural and not in any way inappropriately post processed. For me it's a fascinating photograph that will be enjoyable to study for the next 20 years and beyond.
Why not... I like it, interesting palette, the rim lighting defines the subject in a subtle way, the background gives it context while remaining true to to the style of the entire image... not just another textbook image, bravo.
