Nex-5 using 40 yr old Leica Elmar 50 which is a soft, low contrast lens. By setting camera to Vivid, contrast +1, sharp +1 you get the image on the right. No PP needed

Latest camera is NEX-5 with Novoflex M adapter. Leitz lenses work fine. The low contrast Elmar 50mm can create high contrast high sharpness images by adjustments in camera. All lenses easy to focus. Quality of Leitz much better than kit lenses (Rt two). But current price for this set of Leitz >$6k on E-Bay right now.
