There are a couple of theories on the name Bow Bridge. One that it emulated a silk ribbon when tied, the other, that it looked like the wooden bridge on a violin that holds up the strings.
It is made of cast iron. The longer I stayed the more I appreciated its beauty. It was serenely pretty once the crowds dissipated, minutes before sunset, peace came, and light changed. Those were the "magic moments".
