The photographer as a young boy

Mendocino California. The child is me in London just as the War ended. I was two - my mother is just behind me. When I looked into that window as an old man, this is what i saw, though the composite was made many years after. I wonder if the child can imagine me?
I'm fascinated by the story that birthed this beautiful ethereal image.
I feel mother, boy and man are together always in the timeless realms of the heart. :)
