MTCW: The A7r isn't really meant for flowers. The DOF is so poor that important detail is blurred away (petals) and other objects appear distractingly in focus (right corner) And the colors tends to melt away as the scene becomes more OOF, which is not good for the petals here. IMHO, Flowers are best shot with a small sensor camera using a short FL lens.
