Fascinating places you are showing us. Digital solves a number of problems with the 35mm ("miniature") format. Medium and large format cameras with movements correct perspective through adjustments and allow greater depth of field in various situations. There have been some good 28mm and 35mm Perspective Control lenses offered for 35mm over the years. My old Haselblad SWC/M with the CZ 38mm Biogon lens soldiers on for architecturals... Cliff

For the few of those interested in technical aspects associated with photography, this image threw up a few problems. The camera is tipped upwards and this created many issues with the Geometry. Keystoning was not too bad, but then it was apparent that the windows on the ground floor were "bulging" i.e. Barrel Distortion. This had to be corrected in stages with DxO software and it proved to be a juggling act.

Lacock Village is entirely owned by the National Trust. It is as near to a perfectly preserved Medieval English village as you are likely to see. Stunning architecture with a number of styles dating back to the 13th century. If you ever visit England and are interested in architecture and history, do not miss this. Along with Castle Combe, it is very close to Bath. It has been used many times by the BBC as a Set for Period Dramas.
