Good news is that Zeiss ZM line lenses are not more expensive than SLR Line (ZF/ZE/ZA), but the cost of M9 body for me is too much too :) Other hand IQ of M9's images are slightly worse than of 5D Mk.II. Next year there is planed to release M10, probably with new Fuji organic sensor :) But price wouldn't be lowered if it doesn't rise up, but IQ should be slightly better :)

You are correct about the M9, but the body and a 21mm f/2.8 lens will cost you ~£7.7. For most people, it will never be a solution, particularly when you probably need two or three lenses if you plan to do more than just landscape work.

Please correct me Bajnexile, but isn't Leica M9 an answer to compact camera with descent 17-40mm lens? But it prices much :( I read at SonyAlphaRumorus that next year there is planned to release hybrid mount FF mirroless camera by Sony ;) Could it recall success of dual-mount Contax made by Zeiss ?
