This is Fifth Avenue in NYC, Christmas Eve last year. It is the main avenue of Manhattan where it literally divides the island in two. What you don't see are the thousands of visitors on the sidewalks.
The entire avenue is lit up for more than a mile. Most of the buildings have electric decoration. What you are seeing are reflections from buildings across the street.
