This has been a place of Christian worship continuously for over 1300 years, since Osric, an Anglo-Saxon prince, founded a religious house here in 678-9 AD. It is always hard to comment in your photos, because the (my) vocabulary is not rich enough to express the feelings seeing these masterpieces.
Wonderful as usual.
Just wondering how you are doing these images and is nobody (tourists or others) there to ruin the captures (whenever I'm going are tens of people - just hard to avoid them - must be something special in England....!)
