It doesn't looks like Traversal CA, it could be Axial CA or sensor blowing, which are practically uncorrectable. Best regards, WZ.

aquilan. The purple Fringing is due to Chromatic Aberration and one can correct for this form of Lens Distortion in most software packages. Both DxO, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Photoshop CS6 use Plug In Lens Modules that can minimise Purple Fringing. The easiest way is to treat the image at the time of RAW conversion. Nice colorus and exposure balance between most dark and most highlighted areas. Recenlty I started to fight with purple hallow, which shows at high contrast borders of picture taken against strong source of light. I believe it is constant feature of all T* coated lenses :)
