I saw the sunset hit the windows across the street then grabbed my camera to the street. Literally stood in the middle of the road (not a smart thing to do in NYC), shot the windows then did a quarter turn and shot about 20 more of the Bloomberg building (the Mayor, Mike Bloomberg, a billionaire, built it).
Because of the terrible and deadly hurricane we had last week the skies have been extraordinary.
It will take years until sections of our city, especially along the water, will re-build and recover.
