You are correct about the signal noise in the shadow areas - this was shot at the limits of the sensor's abilities to collect light - I actually was a bit hesitant to post it because of the quality issues but I really liked the stars in the river and the overall composition the poor shadow detail notwithstanding
I like mood here but charm is little fading out then You enlarge it due to unmanned noise and low DoF at center of composition with f/3.5.
