Kitty in the concrete jungle. He looks so alone, but dignified at the same time, through all that scruff. He's a survivor. I like that this image tells me all of that. It has a story that the author is enhancing with depth of field, light, composition. Very nicely done.
This is a powerful capture, in my opinion. The kitten looks like he has a hard life.
