Vancouver came to express remorse and thank the VPD for the way they tried to handle the rioters. Hundreds of sticky notes were written in the aftermath and placed on this cruiser. Another mass phenomenon.

A small local restaurant gives him breakfast quite often. I've seen his buggy of belongings sitting at a busy street corner many days. today he consented to me photographing him while he spoke of government conspiracies.<br />
Updated November 2013, Ryan has just passed away from Cancer and there was a very large memorial service in his honour...seems he was a local celebrity

they came to Occupy Vancouver on a homemade scooter and have a good time
Always I am overwhelmed by clouds and architecture as elements. This seemed like the wings of an avenging angel reaching out to the skyscaper. I was hoping for it to move a bit closer, but it broke up as it moved across the sky. The b&w conversion and subsequent tinting was done in camera raw. And Steve, I could have used your wide angle here!

I think its only an air conditioner but I love all that gleaming metal and clean colour. Taken early morning but almost too late - shooting into the sun a bit, but was able to recover the brights adequately.
A million abstracts there, I may very well return for.
