The LC40 is quick, easy to set up has an f2.0 Summicron lens, and produces nice pictures, though a little noisy in the shadows which has to be fixed with NR( I use Nikon NX2). It is a 4 MP camera. Doesn't match the LC5/Digilux 1 for IQ.
This was in Ipswitch, UK. The organizers told us we would never get close to the Queen and Prince Philip, but we were lucky enough to pick a spot near their limo.
This is where we got bread, and other staples during the year we were in Woburn, Grenada. To go into town was pretty much an all day adventure just trying to find stuff we were familiar with. Chicken breasts? Forget it, they only had legs and wings. We learnt to make Calaloo quiche, and soup. And of course lots of chocolate.
